I’ve been watching Letterkenny on Hulu. I recommend.

recently finished death note ( the anime, not the movie) it was freaking good, one of the best. also it was super shot, only around 35 episodes

After watching Pig and enjoying it I watched a few Nic Cage movies.

Mandy, Color out of Space, & Willy’s Wonderland.

My friends and I like to watch movies together over Discord. Last night they suggest Suicide Squad (the new one) as they’re big comic book movie peeps. Me? Not so much. I begrudgingly agreed despite having seen the atrocity that was the first Suicide Squad movie.

I had to eat my words though, as I actually enjoyed it. It was actually quite funny, too.

I am about 30% through the first 2 seasons and it is awesome. I found the DVDs super cheap. I was so surprised about how well done it is. The storylines, plots, characters, acting, and character development are absolutely superb. In a word: riveting!

What is this Willys wonderland? I’m looking for new horror movies. Legit horror movies, not necessarily scary but horror of any kind

Willys Wonderland is solid if you want a Nic Cage fix. Idk if it’s horror or action or… Comedy? But it was fun to watch.

For recent horror I really liked “A Classic Horror Story”. It’s like an Italian version of Midsommar meets Wrong Turn, classic horror movie vibe. If you can get past it being dubbed it’s really pretty good overall.

Last House on the Left 2021 remake is pretty solid too, exactly what you expect it to be.

Nic Cage has been killing it lately with all these horror movies. Mandy is a masterpiece. I also recommend Mom and Dad if you haven’t seen it.

Midsommar was super good! Horror movies have gotten really good in the last 5-10 years

I loved Midsommar, but I went into it blind and it didn’t even occur to me that it was a classified as a horror movie. Maybe that says more about me than the movie… hmm

The White Lotus was good. Hacks too.

Just finished the series “Brand New Cherry Flavor”. It has a slight Cronenberg vibe that I like. Certain scenes reminded me of the Twin Peaks style from lynch too. I thoroughly enjoyed its weirdness.
