Yup, lube for me. I like my bearings to be quiet. It’s mainly owing to the lube that I can acknowledge my process is overly fiddly… once you put the lube on, it matters less that you got them pristinely clean to begin with.
I like Gorillus Lubricus, but it’s borderline “thick” lube, so even the pin drop method yields a responsive bearing until it’s broken in. If I’m just wanting to get right to unresponsive, it’s whatever thin lube is around… currently, V4M.
It was a good week. I got a YYF Pulsar Shutter, YYR Diffusion '03 version, CLYW Glacier Express (finally), YYF Jason Lee Shutter, Something Crazy D (finally), C3 Electric Flash, and another OD Rally.
Not exactly a week more like a month but whatever.
-Sweets Focus Kendama.
1 of 7 Irony SG’s.
I got the Kendama around a month ago and its my first Kendama, getting the hang of it so far.
The Irony SG I got a few days ago in it is truly an amazing throw!
Ive talked to Werrd about it having a full production run and they said most likely they will not have a production run which sucks because this is an amazing throw, the spin times on this SG are crazy.
I got a Magic YoYo D6 - I order a lot from Amazon and every time I do, I throw in another MYY. I like the D6, feels very solid for a plastic yoyo, smooth finish and plays well. Bearing was terrible out of the box (unshielded 8-ball konkave) but that’s easily fixed with a cleaning.
