Gnome
@Isaac sent me a yellow FH1, so I finally got to make the cap combo I’ve been wanting since these first released.
Quick trick with it stock (save for the immediate cap swap), I love how these things take zero setup. Perfect level of response right out of the box, and the string is already attached and has a loop tied. Throw Duncan.
@bobafret Milehighyoyo Gnome Trooper — happiest use of money this year on a yoyo. It’s fun and the art (@yoyoretro) is great - my kids appreciate it. Lots of good stuff out of the box, fantastic job all!
Oo was that the last clear RBC off YYT?
Might have been. I asked the pointed question of are more planned and when I got my answer I jumped before it was too late. Didn’t want to have to scavenge the BST boards for a decently proceed one. 100% worth it. It’s one of my favorite yo-yos to date next to my Janus.
I’m right there with you, I love my RBC. So aesthetically pleasing just as an object, but feels amazing in the hand too. Funny how just from picking it up, if you knew nothing about niche yo-yos, you’d probably think “whoa this is a nice yoyo”.
Guys please can you explain to me what is this Unknown stuff that all the brands do? I see so many brands doing an unknown version and didn’t get what is that, I noticed the Pokémon but I didn’t get the whole thing, thank you
Unknown is Bryan Figueroa’s brand. Oldschool 4A legend player. He’s a graphic designer by trade and Unknown as a brand allows him to collaborate and do design work with his friends and various companies.
Originally Unknown was more focused on clothing/accessories, but now it’s just the occasional special edition yoyo.
Thanks so much Mable, I know Brian as a player (who doesn’t) but I didn’t knew about the brand, I will have a look at it, those yoyos always look super cool!
Yet another egg-shift Wyvern found its way over the great pond. The colorshifting abilities are just something special.
Am I the only one who scanned the QR code?
I usually don’t care much for engraving, but that looks pretty nice
Layer Infinity Kasm Dexter ed. and undersized organic proto.
The Kasm is up there with the Daytripper in terms of 0A performance for me.
And the undersized organic proto is just plain fun and surprisingly smooth, great spin time, and power for a 3D printed yoyo. I hope they put this into production, I would buy another one of these.
The Kasm is fantastic and the cat caps are adorable!
