Very cool! It looks like it’s actually just cut and lathed skateboard wheels. Can you confirm? I wonder if a better shape and response could be made. I’ve had a brand new lathe boxed up in my closet waiting for a place to be mounted. I really wanna try something with this idea.

In this case, I think they have been purposefully molded as wheel halves, but they look and feel just like skate wheels! You should try making your own with your lathe!

LLT, Larger Lighter, Triangle in Rainbow Galaxy. This started as 3 random polls with one word answers. This is the result. Crazy fun, big, triangle shaped yoyo. Fast, super fast lol, and very stable. Feels really fun.
Ghost. The only Teflon throw I’m aware of and the material really makes for a unique experience. 2.2g/cm3 density is significantly closer to an Aluminum (2.7g/cm3) type experience than a plastic (1.2g/cm3) type experience. Crazy smooth feeling, like a wet bar of soap thats not wet lol

Ah that makes sense. I was wondering how they would get the starburst and a mold would definitely be the easiest. I’m hoping to get my lathe set up one day. If I ever do, I will give it a try. Might be a year or two thanks to my adhd but one day….

Couple of CLYWs old and new. 28 stories otter and a gold nugget OG puffin. (I’m pretty sure the otter is 28s but it seems like it has red speckle not splash so if I’m wrong please correct me or if I’m right please lmk!

I also snagged a second The End Pt 2 because I really wanted the splash. Got #47! I don’t think I’ll need any more of this yoyo now. It’s a really fun one to practice on, I feel like my ability to accurately hit the strings is improving a lot.
My preordered copy of King Gizzard’s Petrodragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation also arrived! A ripper of a metal album, the boys really outdid themselves again. The cover goes perfect with The End. Naming on point too lol

Bonus shower thought: I really need to buy a new precision metal lathe and dual schmoove groove these and recess the silicone ring pad groove a bit deeper to take a groove recessed Red RTV silicone job.
I’ll probably eventually buy upgrade kits for all my new FH1’s. The new wider gap spacers and KK bearing kit. Mainly for the thick spacers. Might make some sanded gift card shims in the mean time and see if that’d be a viable compromise.

My second delivery for the day, a CLYW Wish. Been wanting to play one of these for some time and it definitely does not disappoint. 
Haven’t had a lot of time to play lately while working on the house and the Wish and The End Part 2 arriving is such a nice distraction.
