What did you get in the mail, 2023

Very nice! Which is your favorite so far?

I was surprised! Let me know what you think!

I haven’t had much time with them as of yet but so far the DaVinci is my favourite. It moves fast, very maneuverable and feels as light as the Tachyon. Throws come out better on it too.

One of my favourite yoyofriends yoyo for now, the other is Raytracer (other yoyofriends I own - Hummingbird, Sunbird and Peregrine)

Yes. Its one of the best yoyos ive bought. I wasn’t sure how it would be or if maybe it was a gimmick but its amazing. There are no reviews of it so kind of went in blind but I did see some of your past comments on it and you sold me on it. :joy: If he decides to make a Hendiatris 2.0 version I would love to see one wider like 48-49mm and redesign the cup better suited for finger spins. Overall it’s an excellent yoyo and the quality it top notch. Haven’t put it down since I got it. I also like supporting companies that are pushing Innovation and trying new things.

What a feeling when you land one on that tiny dimple in the center.

I recently learned about Fakies yo-yos so got this because it is incredibly nostalgic of the years 1999-2000 (grade 5) for me. We’re talking Canadian yo-yo boom (my Fireball Glow) and World Industries Tech Decks.

What do the guts look like on those?

Whoohoo, where you got this from? As a former Skater I‘m super intrigued. Awesome piece of nostalgia!

I got a few new side effects to try, and not really a mail day but I lost my purple butterfly so I opened the Target pink one I’ve had sitting in my drawer.

Front left to right:

Pink Butterfly
Deep State in Broken Heart with Red Flat Caps
Rebirth with Blue Spikes
Reboot with Clear Energy Domes

Appreciate the interest, it has a fairly small bearing, I haven’t compared it but it looks close to the size of an A bearing. Starburst response, the gap is a little wide.

It doesn’t really respond well, I haven’t tinkered with the setup though. It’s a bit heavy, I haven’t weighed it yet. I think the timing for this design was very much on the brink of unresponsive yo-yo development - I know that Glass Eye helped prototype it.

Most importantly, this yo-yo looks fantastic! And that’s why I sought it out, mostly to display. I dug up my Tech Decks from my parents house to make a little shrine.:skateboard::yo-yo:

Dude, it was crazy, I heard about it, saw there were World Industries editions, looked it up on the ‘bay and there was the exact graphic I would have wanted for $29! -So ya, if you want one keep an eye out on the ‘bay.

I have a few of these kicking around. They are not great players, never were. But fun, regardless.

If you are ever willing to part with some of these please hit me up. I happily take whatever is kicking around

You are one lucky fella  Thanks for your response. Just checked Ebay. There’s only one right now for about $77. But I sure know now what to look out for on the bays.

I want one! Where did you find this thing? Add me to the list of former skaters that feel the nostaglia.

Edit: Sorry I got so excited that I didn’t realize I hadn’t finished reading all of the existing posts. Guess my question was already answered.
