Ended my evening placing an order on some old school throws - Wanted to get my hands on a SPYY before theyāre all gone so pulled the trigger on a Radian 2 (Looks to be a fun organic throw), and another older throw caught my eye that takes me back to yoyos I marveled when I got back into throwing - a 3yo3 Omnicron X.

This morning at 6am I walked up to our local church. Iām no christian but I sure like the architecture of old churches!
For the rest of the day I have been working on Guy Wright bind (which Iāve picked up!) so I am happy about that

Today was a very unproductive stay at home lazy saturdayā¦Checked my emails to see if my 2 new throws have shipped but havenāt (hopefully that yoyo storeās online shop is still active, they were still running the online shop last week but closed their physical store due to the virus).
Played some Mario Maker but flat out of ideas, then hopped over to my Retro Pi to play some classics and ended up playing Sonic 2 āXLā (the Sonic mod where Sonic gets fatter with each ring he consumesā¦its hilarious).
Got Census taken care of as something had to be meaningful today, then finished out with some matador pull starts on my Yelets.

Wife and I both decided to take the day off from working and just have family time. Took the kid outside this morning because it was fairly nice and she got to ride her trike around. Spending the afternoon inside and splitting a crowler while the kid plays. Canāt complain.

A day of retro gamesā¦ And checked in on my order finding out this morning that the shop is suspending online orders until mid April. Iāll be patient and wait as much as it is disappointing to know my new throws will be in limbo but better than putting somebody at risk during this time, the shop will be backā¦ If only I pulled the trigger sooner

I guess you can say I am kicking off Monday morning (00:15) with some fantasy yoyo designs now that I figured out how to make 3d shapes in Illustrator, starting off with the yoyoās cross section. I think my bearing is a little wide though
Now itās time to head off to sleep!

Have you played any of the scenarios yet? Are you playing solo, or do you have others to play with you?
Iāve played a dozen or more trading card gamesā¦so that really helped with picking this game up. Having a ton of things to keep track of isnāt too overwhelming for me most the time.
But as Peps saidā¦
There really is a lot too it!
Once you get it though, the game really flows and things just click into place so well for this one.
Itās also really tough at first while youāre still trying to figure out your deck. Especially until you start adding in some of the cards from the expansions youāve bought.
If youāre ever stuck on a scenario, but really want to play through it just so you can say youāve beaten itā¦as well as so you can experience it, thereās an āeasyā mode. Iām not sure if the updated rules book includes thisā¦but it wasnāt included in my old core sets.
I just played Conflict At The Carrock on easy mode tonight after being clobbered to death a few times over the last couple of days.
Messed around a little with Planet Coaster, played some Sonic 3, and got in contact with the yoyo shop in which my online order is on hold at this time. Found out that as my order was getting prepped, the state came down and ceased all non essential businesses even with online (the shop has both a phyisical and online shop). The guy running it seemed pretty cool and explained what was all going down and if all goes well, I should have my 2 āhard to findā throws coming which is a Spyy Radian and Omnicron X in a couple weeks. I can wait it out. Both older designs but lately Iāve kind of wanted to dabble in some older shapes.

I havenāt gone as far as LOTR but iām going to try D&D. Iāve ordered a copy, and await its delivery. Me and my daughters are going to give it ago.

Today, Iām hacking my SNES mini so I can play Gameboy games on it. Hopefully later, I can show my son Pokemon Red on the TV!
