Happy birthday man! Have fun drinking and dancing and throwing.
Hey happy birthday @Mystik!
Woke up at noon. Gonna meal prep for the week and then I have a date later.
Meal prepping the way to go.
playing tennis. anyone else?
Not a ton, just kind of a lazy sunday. Messed a little with my Moonshine, mainly working on “stop 'n pops” (a stop 'n go move when in a trapeze) without feeling like I’m going to rip my fingers out from a snag when popping the yoyo back out. Also some 1a action with my Diamond Virgin.
Messed a little with Mario Maker 2 but in a creative rut at the time being with that so just played a couple levels including a level that shoots full-auto snowballs at Mario as he tries to hit the goal that’s just on the other side of the screen (a single screen level).
Lastly, over the weekend decided to take a trip back and check out the weird SuperYo anime. It’s definitely a trip back to how yoyoing felt when I was a kid (minus tricks being ranked as “hyper level” etc). The really advanced stuff were tricks like brain twister, split the atom (those tricks really did perplex me back in the late 90s).
Oh, and fooled around with a few of my Hanayama puzzles (Square - solved 1 of them, my first level 6 totally by accident…much harder to put back together).
Bruh. I LOVE Waffle House. My wife does not. I was on a work trip to Charleston last year and there was one in my hotel parking lot. I think I went for 2 dinners, 4 breakfasts, and 1 lunch.
…they knew me by name on day 3.
Not tennis, but I probably will play pickle ball today!
i need to try pickle ball sometime. Whenever i go to the courts i always see people playing it and it looks like a blast.
It’s super fun!
Typical of San Antonio. Folks love that stuff in the Alamo City.
Not for me though thanks!
Pickleball for me too today! It’s a fantastic game.
Never heard of pickleball. Time to search YouTube and see what I am missing. Where I live February is not a good time for tennis. No indoor courts around my small town.
Haha
Working as usual .
But I’m taking the scenic route on the kawasai to have my fun on the way!
Pickleball is awesome because it’s easy to pick up and have fun immediately, but you can also take it to extremely high levels (like yoyo!). Players of all ages can be competitive. One of the top pros is a 12 year old girl, and some of the top players in my club are 70+. It’s incredibly fun and addictive. Here are some highlights from the top pros:
