We’ve gotten quite a bit of the smoke here in my small town in the middle of Wyoming.
Damn the smell makes me all nostalgic to simpler times. Makes for some insanely beautiful red/orange sunrises too!

Just occurred to me that Green is the color for Love in Eastern religion and in metaphysics and you are without doubt the most outwardly loving and positive member of the YYE forum. Coincidence? I think not!:green_circle::heart::yo-yo:

Well, I was just talking about this with my wife and she said, “Wait, you mean that’s what I’ve been smelling?” So, yeah… seems that CA is sending us some campfire vibes.

In all seriousness, all best to our folks out there. I have family there and elsewhere in the West that have been living and will continue to live with this, so it’s something I follow and feel.

First blue skies in about a month due to a shift of the winds and the “marine layer” (or as us Bay Area folks refer to as Karl the Fog)…we had a couple of nights of some light drizzle kind of cleaning out the air and making a mess of our ashy cars…I promise, going to wash my car tomorrow.

Today - checked in on my game that’s “on tour” and it’s still in transit “somewhere”…it left Kansas City yesterday but it hasn’t arrived anywhere yet. I think I’m going to have to call Gamestop tomorrow (they don’t bother checking emails) and just seek a refund. I don’t see the game arriving anytime soon and honestly, I’m over it. I’ll buy the game elsewhere.

Games…playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps that surprise dropped on the Switch today. Gorgeous game much like its predecessor. Caught my by surprise when I saw the Xbox logo on the Switch port, though it was originally an Xbox exclusive. Mario 3d all-stars arrives tomorrow, and a second copy on Sunday…I had preordered another as backup and tried to cancel the GS one but that clearly didn’t happen. Going to sell my extra copy to one of my friends who just bought a Switch. Not going to scalp him, just normal retail price.

Oh, and landed a beefhook for the first time in months on my Spyder 2

Got some much-needed sunlight exposure today - a friend and I decided to do a Sunday morning skate at a local park and get some miles in, change of pace too from our usual parking lot skate sessions. After, decided to check out the skate park that was on site. While nothing mind blowing, found hitting transitions on skates. Also was the very first time visiting a skate park on rollerblades, and the first time hitting a park since the 2000’s when I was skateboarding.

Yes, I feel rather proud that I rode up the transition (slightly) and didn’t fall

Just another weekday in the neighborhood - played a little bit of Mario 64 (3d all-stars), a couple rounds of Tetris 99 and as I had nothing better to do, attempted to ollie a skateboard. I still got it down but I definitely don’t have the energy I had in my high school days, when I last did an ollie (early 2000’s). Made me miss skating though I realized I’m not as young as I used to be. Trying to ride a regular street deck, I realized why I prefer cruisers these days…much smoother and easier ride.

Very, very well done. You are extremely passionate about this new venture and that will lead to lots of followers. It sounds great that your content will not be predictable. I think people will tune in if they are unsure of what your new episode will be about. This video was the perfect length too. Great job!

Haha I’m passionate about everything I do :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Next one will probably be a product review since I bought a light and a mic to upgrade my quality a bit

Went surfing today…on asphalt that is. Learned how to pump my cruiser (a method of propulsion that does not require pushing like a traditional skate) that I just pulled out of storage, another fun distraction from today’s woes. Also can thank Tony Hawk 1+2 to kind of spark my interest in skateboarding again (just nothing crazy, more into the flow/ride).

those 2 short laps around the lot, worked off a sweat.
