Where’d you find them, ebay?
Starting a kick-back three day weekend. (Working outside in this stifling 100 plus degree heat is tiresome!)
My aunt just got here last night from Mississippi and is staying for 5 days before she moves to Germany… we probably won’t get to see her for a while after this.
Testing out/dialing in my 2 Custom Yoyos that just came in (aka, deshielding the bearings, packing in some silicone grease) and finding them to be a pure delight. Custom Reactor and Axl Elite. 2 very different experiences - 1 is very light and the other is very solid but still feels great.
Went on a brief walk around the area to take mind off of current political frustrations…I swear I’d never touch politics but 2020 kind of dragged me in realizing things…Now working on a little side project for a coworker/friend of mine (that he doesn’t know about)
Are you just a big fan of Calvin or something!
Bell Magic and Bending Branches Slice
I’d love to get a Northstar (Ted Bell’s current canoe company) Firebird.
I also have a Bell Northstar, same layup and trim. I got the BB Slice last year. Still undecided on it. Prefer my BB Special and Beavertail. That Northstar Firebird is a nice boat. That pic was taken on the St. Croix about 4 miles south of Osceola.
Haha! Love it!
Wow, you have quite a nice setup! The Firebird would be my first venture into canoes.
I contacted BB about where to get a Navigator Plus last year. They said since I live somewhat nearby I could stop by the factory and pick one up there and they’d give me a tour while I was there. Great people.
That’s a beautiful paddle.
I’ve had a canoe since I was about 12. Bought my first composite about 20 years ago. Alumacraft up to that time.
Sexiest shower ever.
Today is the last day I will scrub the stick of subway from my body. I am no longer the sandwich man!!!
RIP Subway Matthew
2005 - 2020
Watched a snake shed (in person) for the first time…man that’s a lot of work they have to go through! Was also a (delayed) feeding day as she was “in blue” on her normal day and wouldn’t have been able to see a thing
Went out for a little rollerblade session as I rebuild my stamina I once had as a kid (and get myself back into some kind of shape). Been taking each session a mile at a time, starting with 1 mile, bumping it up to 2 and when I feel less sore after 2, I’ll bump it up again. It’s a slow grind but it’s something!
You have a great, positive attitude!
I try… Especially when I’ve had days where I felt absolutely down in the dumps with everything going on,including waking up in a foul mood as soon as I woke up thanks to a quarantine dream (had dreamed that I had returned to work only to wake up realizing this seemingly isn’t happening this year)
Very cool. I randomly came across your FS tips tutorial Last week looking for some tutorials. I think your video was extremely thorough for a beginner and if they watch it i think could walk away with a FS routine not just one pic trick which i think would be more inspiring to continue.
Thanks, man. I hope it’s more helpful than overhelming.
I went to the river yesterday to fish… it was supposed to take 3-4 hours but it took 8. Now I can’t walk. Also we kayaked the whole way and it wasn’t flowing… sad. I also caught no fish.
Can a 4 year old actually comprehend that?
