It is so fun getting new people interested in yoyoing! Especially young kids. I love teaching the little ones their first sleeper.

My friend in Israel is actually a client of my father and a instructor in my dadās GAGA (body movement therapy dancer class) instructorā¦ last year my father flew there with a yoyo as a gift for himā¦ he learned to throw and catch in his own and my father sent him a video. He contacted me to say it looked cool. I challenged him a TaW contestā¦if he sticks with it i told him id buy him a good yoyoā¦ (he has purchased the Absurdity, Dunk, SB2, Turntable on his ownā¦) i think heās hooked. STEPHAN.
My patient saw my yoyo display and said he used to enjoy but never had skills. I gifted him a Duncan FH plastic. I challenged him to walk the dog on videoā¦ same challenge. Iāll see what he purchases in there next few months.

I found the pads in store yesterday - decided to go for a walk to my local Big 5 (I saw Yomega Brain yoyos there!). Helmet-wise, what they had was a size down for my nogginā¦ended up finding a decent (and affordable) one online but had to tell myself to be flexible, donāt be dead set on a specific brand or model. That will be here Monday.

well that was funā¦seems like half the internet went down for a few minutes (except for some big websites), taking YYE and the forum with it. It wasnāt just this site though. Hooray itās back!

Iām guessing a server somewhere that hosts a bunch of sites went down temporarily. I tried a golf forum and a few other sites and they were down as well.
Remember a few years ago when twitter and few other big name sites went down? Probably same thing this time.

This afternoon we saw an outage across some parts of our network. It was not as a result of an attack. It appears a router on our global backbone announced bad routes and caused some portions of the network to not be available. We believe we have addressed the root cause and are monitoring systems for stability now.

Nothing much today - mess with the Pop Art, chat with friends, see that the neighbors down the street are throwing a party with a bouncy blow up castle (this doesnāt seem wise but who am I to judge?), and feeding of the snake. Today marks 3 weeks that Iāve had Slink
