I found the pads in store yesterday - decided to go for a walk to my local Big 5 (I saw Yomega Brain yoyos there!). Helmet-wise, what they had was a size down for my noggin…ended up finding a decent (and affordable) one online but had to tell myself to be flexible, don’t be dead set on a specific brand or model. That will be here Monday.

well that was fun…seems like half the internet went down for a few minutes (except for some big websites), taking YYE and the forum with it. It wasn’t just this site though. Hooray it’s back!

I’m guessing a server somewhere that hosts a bunch of sites went down temporarily. I tried a golf forum and a few other sites and they were down as well.
Remember a few years ago when twitter and few other big name sites went down? Probably same thing this time.

This afternoon we saw an outage across some parts of our network. It was not as a result of an attack. It appears a router on our global backbone announced bad routes and caused some portions of the network to not be available. We believe we have addressed the root cause and are monitoring systems for stability now.

Nothing much today - mess with the Pop Art, chat with friends, see that the neighbors down the street are throwing a party with a bouncy blow up castle (this doesn’t seem wise but who am I to judge?), and feeding of the snake. Today marks 3 weeks that I’ve had Slink
