What are you doing today?

My demon sleeps within. I’m sure yours is resting too.:smiling_imp::gift_heart:

You know - it’s like riding a bike. One that others won’t dare you to flaunt your skills on.

Very nice!!

I baby sat some little kids and taught them how to yoyo! One little girl was so sad to see me leave because she wanted to keep yo-yoing. Made my heart sing

Just went to a fundraiser event for my friend that passed. Food truck is donating 100% of the profits to Freddies family.
They sold all of there food. I actually didn’t get mine but donated my money anyway, because it’s the right thing to do.
I love you brother.

Today was a “take it easy” kind of day after yesterday’s fall…woke up with the shoulder area sore. Played some classic DK Country (that just finally released on the SNES app on the Switch) and relaxed with learning a few tricks with the pop art…gentle throws.

You rest yourself. No more back or shoulder injuries.

I’m in my final 2 weeks at this job. Been clearing my personal effects from the store and found this relic:

When the team was in its prime we had a considerable amount of news paper and TV action. If I remember right , one year we hit the paper 3 or 4 times in about 6 months. I bragged at the time,“Call me Mr.Sunday paper!”

Good times were had.:sunglasses:

Yeah! My family went through a (mostly) homemade pizza phase one summer. We’d buy premade crusts and toppings and make our own pizzas, then my dad would cook them on his grill! Super tasty, fun, easy dinner, easy cleanup.

Every few months my mom would make her own dough and I’d go over where she’d put a ton of toppings out on the table and me her and my dad would all make our own homemade pizzas. I mean they weren’t the best pizzas in the world…but they were good and I miss the whole experience of it all.

I rebuilt another Duncan ProFly today. These come with wooden axles, but the the size of the axle spacer makes them great to mod. I took a pair of Duncan Mod Spacers to my grinder and got rid of everything but the spacer seat. For response I used a rubber washer from the hardware store and sanded out the middle to fit the red plastic…response pads are flush . Added some rim weightrings (a.k.a. big fat O-rings) under the pogs. An A size bearing with some Yomega Brain lube and a slick 6 string is a nice little responsive player. This is the second Profly I’ve done this to. Love 'em.

My son-in-law just finished building a wood fired pizza oven, A 6 week project. Haven’t had the opportunity to sample the final product yet. I’ve heard from my grand daughter that it needs a little curing/cleaning yet. The crust is a bit gritty.

I know the feeling. Before all this started I was at the gym 4 nites a week and worked on an elliptical machine for 40 minutes no sweat. Got my own a couple of weeks ago and am lucky to do 15.

Agreed. Hadn’t ice skated in 4 or 5 years. This past winter I decided to go again. Just about killed my calf muscles.

Today - went shopping for a helmet and protective pads… Little did I know finding these in a local store would be difficult unless you’re buying for a child.

And this evening - trying to figure out how my snake got on this…

I have to film some to-camera pieces which means I need to mask-up and get my hair sorted…

Were you able to find a helmet and pads? My dad had to go to a motorcycle shop to find his protective gear. I never realized helmets were so freaking expensive! (his cost somewhere around $200 I think, though to be fair, they had cheaper ones too).

Ive been helping a friend in Israel progress his yoyo skills and it’s very satisfying to see his videos… 2 fill months in and he is landing basic repeater tricks in DON… helps he is a professional dancer.
And Ive successfully got a patient of mine to join my yoyo internship and he just sent me a video of him self throwing sleepers and walk the dog.
One thrower at a time…

That’s so cool AK!
Do you help the guy in Israel by sending him video tutorials and such? How did you guys meet?

Jumping into new hobbies is so much fun! Would be awesome if the guy/patient sticks with it! I really wish one of my friends would jump into the hobby with me so I had someone in person to throw with.
