Today I’m currently reading a thread titled, “what are you doing today.” I think it’s time to go fly a bike.
agreed
Just got done raking the yard. Getting ready to host the Yoyo club at home.
We drove out to Serpent Mound, a cool snake shape mound built in Ohio one or two thousand years ago.
Surprise! Im going to check out the YOYO talents Of John Higby… . Very pleasant surprise start to my week.
my middle is used to it but my index cracked lol.
That’s pretty dope.
Just gave my notice.
Not a decision that’s been made lightly, as I have been at this company for 13+ years. This year has been rough for many in a great number of ways. That doesn’t mean that it’s ok for my job (and not my company, but in general)to cause extra stress. As a result I have grown to resent the job/customers that I used to find satisfaction in serving.
That took a great deal of strength to present to my boss and I am both satisfied and devastated all at once.
I need to reclaim my life, goals, and dreams.
I wish you the best moving forward, and I hope an amazing opportunity comes your way!
That hardest part if any task is finding the will to get started! You’ve already overcome and it’s all downhill for you from here! Trust your inner voice in all things and you’ll never be wrong even it it seems harder sometimes!
Thanks @yoyo_cubicle and @TheThrowingGnome . I really appreciate the support. I’m into the unknown now.
And as they say, “failure is unknown”. Time to seize the season of change.
On Saturdays I work in the yard, picking up…
Takes some courage to leave a job right now. Good hunting.
I can’t deny I have some fears. But at the same time feel that other fears have kept me from meeting greater potential.
Today marks 1 week of having my Ball Python, glad to see that she’s taking to her new home ok. Today also marks my first successful attempt at feeding her (I do frozen/thawed)…completely new to me as when I had a snake as a kid, it was live feedings. I now had to learn how to prep the meal and how to convince my snake that her prey is still alive.
Ball Pythons are notorious for being stubborn, had tried her the other day but she wasn’t remotely interested.
My ball python is very picky. Definitely celebrate the successful feedings! I kind of learned his ‘hungry’ behavior, and I don’t bother offering him rats (thawed from frozen, like you) unless he exhibits that behavior.
Today I went over to a fellow woodworker’s property to check out his workshop. It was both impressive and a strong life lesson on the importance of tidying up and not hoarding.
He generously gave me a length of unidentified Aussie hardwood which I am almost certain is gidgee.
Glen this ones for you. God Bless America. I didn’t know you are a teacher. How can I help you kind Sir.
