I tried doing some edging around the landscaping but itās way too hot and humid to do work outside so that didnāt last long. Maybe taking the kayak out to a lake will be cooler.

Awesome. Itās a blast, isnāt it? I feel I donāt get out nearly enough.
I feel kayaks are a lot like yo-yosā¦such a variety of them on the market you want to try them all. Sadly theyāre a bit more pricey than yo-yos.

I used to shoot off a lot of fireworks. Then I realized I could save soooo much cash if I just shoot off my mouth instead. Iām still not sure which is more costly!

Iāve never been super into doing fireworks. I really do like watching them though.
Usually me and my dad would just get a small selection of fireworks each year. Bottle rockets, crackers goofy novelty ones (like the little tanks), smoke bombs and then weād spend a bit on smaller fountains. We could do pretty well with $50 between the 2 of us.
Then weād just do BBQ and enjoy the evening together.
My mom always spent the 4th with her side of the family.
This year Iām being boring lol. My dad moved out of state.
I could go out to one of my friendās and hang out with themā¦but mehā¦Iām okay with being boring!

Watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (almost halfway through my first watch), yo-yoing, then seeing if i can see any fireworks from my balcony. Being boring like @twitch77!

Theyāre just not legal in MN. Havenāt been for as long as Iāve been alive. You can have sparklers and sparkling fountains but nothing that explodes. Of course when I was younger people made the trip to So. Dak regularly for some really good stuff. Now you can buy most anything in Wisconsin, but you canāt shoot them off there w/o a permit.
My son lives in Wisconsin, just across the border. The town he lives in sells the permit for $25. This is his setup from a couple of years agoā¦
All electronic controlled. Show lasted about 30 minutes. He buys the left overs in the off season for 10 to 20 percent of list price.
