Found many pounds of chanterelle mushrooms! Spent this morning cleaning and quartering. Bout to cook and freeze the bulk of them.

I have been invited to talk at a C19 symposium and have to deliver my talk pre-recorded. I am more than happy to stand-up and address a room but find recording torturous.
Fortunately my MFD Aotus arrived to distract me.

I know exactly how you feel. I am totally comfortable teaching in front of a class, answering unexpected questions, and improvising. But recording a ten minute lecture is almost more than I can bear.

I’ve been processing a new steel that’s giving me some questionable properties so I’m currently cutting some tensile bars out of it to run more tests.

It’s been quite a few years since I siliconed a yoyo… I don’t think I did too terrible, just a little cleanup when this cures.
The pads on my Clique delaminated from their adhesive strip (was almost like a double stick tape with rubber) as I noticed weird vibe and snags under a couple normal string wraps. Picked up a tube at Wally World today to get this fixed. Now, how should I store this RTV?
