I have all of Grave Robber’s CDs. The singer does solo stuff now with a different style but still cool. Kinda sounds like Husker Du.
What the hey…
I didn’t know Shawn had solo stuff out there. I will have to check it out. I have been a fan of Grave Robber for 20 years. I first discovered them on MySpace back before they released their first album. Still one of my favorite horror punk bands.
New netherwalker album just came out. Heres the most popular single, but the whole album is fire
Townes Van Zandt - 1973-09-09 - Whole Coffeehouse University of Minnesota - Minneapolis, MN.

Gregory Alan Isakov’s album That Sea, the Gambler
Went to see My Bloody Valentine twice last week, been listening to little else since. Loudest concerts I’ve been to in about 28 years of going to loud concerts. Runners up would be Death Grips and Leftfield.
B side blues.
If you are old enough to remember searching record stores for your favorite artists, you’re old.
If you remember what B sides are, you’re ancient. Just tripping down memory lane while I still have one ![]()
And if you know what mono stands for (not the kissing disease), you’re as old as God! In fact, if you know what mono, the kissing disease stands for, you’re pretty damn old, as well!
This fever dream of a Christmas album lol. Found it in a thrift store when we were visiting family a few years ago and left it. We actually stopped back in as we were leaving our relatives area to buy it on the way home and it has been an insane part of our Christmas tradition ever since.
Any other death fans here? I’ve been listening to this album for a month straight and I got to top it off with seeing DTA play it in its entirety last week. ![]()
Such a banger
Edit: different Death, but ima leave it
I remember hearing about this death when I found out about that death so I understand the confusion ![]()
Both are pretty cool in my opinion
I was super into him for a long time too.
I almost used None Shall Pass for this old yoyo video I made, Hometown Hero.
Oh yeah an OG Death fan here. I’m pretty sure I’ve posted them before (r.i.p. Chuck Schuldiner) Leprosy & Spiritual healing are forever two of my favorite albums of theirs. I also really like Symbolic and Scream Bloody Gore as well. Human and Individual thought patterns are also killer albums ahhahah! Also can’t forget the sound of perseverance, there are some killer riffs on that one! (bite the pain & spirit crusher oh and flesh and the power it holds!) Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their albums. They are all great. It’s pretty cool to see the upgrade in production quality as they all progress too.
