I just received my Speedaholic XX Responsive Toy Toy Toy. No matter what I do I can’t get it to spin smooth. I have the string tension under control but when I throw it, it’s not smooth and acts like the string tension is off. If I let it slowly fall and come back up it is twisting one direction as if there is the wrong tension on the string but if I checked before starting there was no twisting id the string.
I’m sure it’s so.ething I am doing but not sure what.
forgive me if i am wrong but it sounds like you may be relatively new to this hobby
some tilting (precession) will happen with pretty much any yoyo
once you get some practice in your breakaway throws will be smoother, straigher and faster and the yoyo will tilt/twist much less
you can also learn to correct the tilt by moving your hands backwards/forwards (relative to each other) when in a trapeze mount
there are some great videos on yoyoexpert, yotricks and other yoytube channels
basically “keep practicing” it will get better within a week
