Have you had to get a new wardrobe yet?

Multiple times now. I’ve dropped from a size 5x to a xl my suit was a 5x I now have a 2x suit that’s still pretty baggy but really can’t afford to buy new stuff that often and I’m thrifting mostly anyway.

Waiting till I stall a bit or hit my official one year on my surgery before ordering YoYo’s clothes from like @rkalajian and such. The shirts I have got so far have been given to me or tossed in with a YoYo purchase.

Good work so far friend. Cool to see. Just a reminder, motivation is nice to have sometimes, but that’s never the answer. It’s always a choice, you do it because you know you should and you know how good it is for you. Make that choice day in and day out. Good luck. If you ever need anything feel free to hmu. Nice work, seriously, the updates and the graph make it feel real and consistent, not just a random good week.

Seeing posts like this makes me want to actually start cutting too. I read a Minimal article about cheaper tirzepatide options and the general steps around staying consistent, and I’m thinking of following a similar approach so I don’t keep restarting. Wish me luck.

I guess I can give a mini update. I’ve lost a little more I’m down to 240 which is another 10 ish pounds over the holidays and i wasn’t doing great at maintaining my healthy diet over the holidays. I’ve lost allot of muscle over the last year so one of my New Year’s resolutions is to ensure I’m getting enough protein and do some strength training and more cardio so I can build on the weight loss and maintain my overall journey into a healthier me.

For a recap nov 24 I was 375 so a bit over a year and I’ve lost over 130lbs since then. I had my gastric bypass in May so still a bit from a year out on my surgery.

I REALLY need to get back on track after the holidays.

The holidays definitely helped me to gain some weight—I’m up to 140lbs now.

I think that officially means I’m within “healthy weight” now!

I’m 20lbs from my long term goal weight. Hoping to get there by summer. Once I do I’m buying an outfit from @rkalajian (throw yo threads) as a gift to myself for hitting such an amazing goal i didn’t think I could get to

After 5 days in the hospital and a diagnosis of Chronic Heart Failure I am down to 157 this morning.
Not my suggested weight loss method.

Yeah I’m rooting for you but I agree not the best way to lose weight. Stay well my friend heart failure is not great but there are modern medicine ways to deal with such a diagnosis either surgical or medication

They actually started me on some meds that have me feeling better than I have in a while. I messed around with DNA and I made the first real effort to make progress with the spin top. I haven’t thrown them much as the up and down of picking it up off the floor would wear me out so fast. But I had greater attention and my imagination was working better which helps me imagine what I need to change and why. So I also haven’t been throwing the tops because all the floors are wood and my wife did not appreciate the scratches.
But I had this guy for our cats’ water bowl. So I moved it out in the floor and aimed for it…

I realized that up until now I had been throwing into a very broad area, so I could never tell what changes were doing what. So having that small fixed target allowed me to figure what I had out of whack rather quickly. I tried throwing from different distances and having the very small target helped adjust for distance as well. It has also been pretty fun. :star_struck:
