Wellā¦ it took me long enough, but I ended up snagging a red/clear acid wash Battosai ;D. Was really hoping for a white knight, but those sell out so fast. I finally get to see for myself how good they are
many wonder this, but never ask. here are the reasons that i use and after making the Ti Walker think that titanium is SUPER viable in yoyo making (provided that you can pay the price)
Titanium is around 6 to 8 times stronger than Al. this means weight where you want it design wise. walls can go crazy thin without losing durability. it weighs a good bit more, but again, with such a string metal being used, too thin is nearly impossible. it also boasts more durability because of that strength, meaning raw bearing seats dont wear down, threads are more durable, and flat spots are hard to come by.
beyond that, titanium sparks when you walk it in concrete
here you guys go. comparing the two is pretty tough. Ti Walker is slightly more solid and just as smooth as anything youve ever thrown (trust me). i really think this is the best ive done yet
here are some pics of it next to the OG Sky Walker
also, in case you guys had plans to do so, Ti Walkers are limited to one per person. if you attempt to buy more than one, you simply will not get one at all (sorry to be a ball buster, but the run is limited. )
she weighs a gram less than the Al Sky Walker, but distribution is WAY more in her favor
just one run. just 81 yoyos. something i personally wouldnt miss out on
