Nylon is good, but not good enough at this stage It holds tension poorly.

If you have to time to further explain this, I’m honestly curious about this. Although I’ve been in and out of the various forums for a decade, I’ve stuck to BST and never really dipped my toes into the community, until now.

If you mean further explain why, then I can give you my best guess, but as far as examples go, it really is just the normal online community kind of hate. If you share an opinion that is out of the norm, you’re subject to being shot to hell, and if you share an opinion that is in the norm, trolls come out the walls to tell you that there was no point in saying that because it’s already the standard, that kinda deal. Nothing special about yoyo community hate compared to any other communities hate.

I can feel that. To this specific forum, I’ve seen a lot of people try hard to foster a good environment, but on the same side I’ve seen people torn up over silly things. We are all coming in here with different egos and different lives and different philosophies, and just because we all enjoy the same hobby doesn’t mean we are going to or willing to enjoy each other.
I think people like me just want to enjoy the hobby and not deal with the drama, and we tend to ignore it until it’s over. I can’t really change anything if I’m not willing to deal with it.

Ok but seriously tho I feel like it’s because so many people are honestly way too good nowadays. Even compared to just 5 years ago there’s been a huge jump in competitive skill.
The difference between a pretty good player and a great player is bigger than ever. And it can be little discouraging that despite that you see the huge amount of great players on IG, much more so than just a few years ago

The yoing community has been damn good to me personally. Was 15+ years ago, and is now.
I tend to avoid most drama though and go about my business all ‘happy go lucky’ lol. I’m here for fun…I’m not good enough to be competitive or to take things super serious.

I tend to agree. I think though people have different attitudes about what negativity means. One person being adamant and defending their opinion can be construed as being hostile or negative by some people.

Friendly debates and heated arguments are 2 different things but they are often seen as the same thing.
But then again it is easy for some people to actually get a little frustrated when someone doesn’t agree with them so
