Theyāre my top bearing for sure. Quiet, smooth and centering without causing problems with multiple string wraps. I know others have had different experiences with them, but mine have been very positive.

I really like my nsk bearing thus far. So much so I bought a second one. I will have to see how they hold up over an extended period of time. I also just picked up a Buddha concave ceramic that im really digging. Im very impressed with how quiet it is. Forget quiet for a ceramic, its just flat out quiet.

I like every bearing I have tried but I am a pretty big fan of Magicyoyo Gold plated 10 ball center trac bearings. They are dirt cheap(under 10 bucks for 2) and play great. I have tried quite a few different brands and I cant feel a big difference. I do like to keep the stock bearing in all my One drops though.

Iāve picked up a few Terrapin X delta cut ceramics and tossed them in a few yoyos that were due for bearing maintenance anyway. I gotta say I enjoy playing with these bearings so far, I donāt notice a huge difference between the delta cut and center trac myself but Iām also not that good, but it does feel like I got a little more spin time on the string. I also think it just has a nicer feel on the string for me, if that make sense? Of course all of this could very well just be in my head, but Iāve had no complaints so far, I think I may pick up a few more and continue to experiment with them.
I prefer the concave bearing. I have experienced much greater quality control and longevity from them. For center trac bearings it is hit or miss. Sometimes the bearing is perfectly smooth and other times it is not. I have also noticed that once a center trac bearings needs to be cleaned, it never performs the same again. This might just be my experience though.
I personally donāt feel that big of a difference when it comes to centering between the concave and the center trac. I hardly feel a difference between flat bearings and centering bearings. Grooved bearings are my least favorite. To me grooved bearings feel more snaggy than other bearings.

So I realized I have always felt 10 balls are the best flats but I havenāt tried all that many. So I was thinking a discussion of the best for every category would be fun. Also what all categories should be included.

I use whatever really comes in my yoyos which are more often than not centertracs, but my favorite is the konkave.
I used to be a huge fan of the Pixel bearing, but every last one of them became screechy and difficult to maintain.
DS Platinum on the other handā¦ Super easy to maintain and incredibly smooth. These are my go-to bearing now.
