Another thing that’s really hard to explain is the process of thought. Try putting THAT into words.

  1. snowflake formation (if I think on this too much my head hurts)

You can only move one way through time. Forward. There is nothing in physics I am aware of that forbids travel backwards - just no known mechanism described by physics that would allow travel backwards in time.
