My Yeti is scheduled to arrive on the 15th, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to try it until I get back from a trip on the 23rd! 
At least I’ll have a Yeti, FG Avalanche, and a Cliff waiting for me!
That doesn’t make them inferior. I am not happy about the death grip spacers but I am not complaining. Instead I have sourced some and will get a set when they are available. If you really want them they can be bought. And before anyone says “you shouldn’t have to” then don’t buy them. You still have a Yeti with TWO sets of spacers, something later versions will not have. The way I look at it, I have bought a Yeti and will pick up a set of the snap on spacers to fit it PLUS I will have two sets of backup spacers just in case something goes wrong.
I already know what I am going to do when I get the Yeti tomorrow. I am going to take the current bearing out, spacers and all, and I am going to replace it with a spare One Drop 10-Ball I have laying around after I slap in the bonus set of spacers.
In all honesty, the spacers don’t bother me as much as the Center Track bearing. I know it is personal preference but I cannot stand them. The bonus set of spacers allow me to keep a setup for review purposes (it is only fair to review it stock) and also a quick swap set that I can use for my preferred bearing setup.
^ This run of Yetis comes with an extra set of spacers? If so, that’s awesome! I wish they would have put in an OD 10 Ball instead of the CT though.

Thanks for pulling that quote! The old YYF spacers did concern me as I’ve never had a good experience with them. Nice that he’s including spares in the meantime too

How is it for 5A? I know I’m getting a Rally and Yeti for sure, heard both of those are very good for either 5A or 1A but I’m considering getting a XLR8 so I have a yoyo I can run 5A full time.

But back on topic, how would you compare the Yeti to other plastic and Delrin throws?
I am horrible at 5a. I have not tried it on the xlr8, but it is a little narrow for my 5a preferences.
