Yes. Why did you not already provide this service. With 24/7 commentary by you specifically. No breaks. Don’t act like you have a life outside of this project. We know you don’t.

Just had an email through asking about finish options. I think I’m leaning towards option 1, the brushed OG look although the brushed blue could look great.

What is everyone else having?

I’m getting the raw.

I have a raw prototype, so I chose the team edition and polished options for the other two. I’m not sure if those are only available for the GR version, however. If that’s the case, I might have to pick something else for the OG and just go with the team edition for the GR.

og = raw
gr = blue

i think thats how i do

Regarding the Team Edition:
Is the blue going to be the same blue color as the Team Edition or the same blue color as the general release version?

It’s unfortunate there isn’t a sample of what each option looks like–exactly–so we can make a better informed choice. I have a feeling some will be disappointed or wished they’d made a different choice, later, after these are shipped.

I think that would be a great idea.

The chance to own such an epic throw, wanna make sure I choose the right one.

reading the email, the OG comes in one option, and the GR in four, correct?

just got confirmation via email this is the case!

Could you post what the choices part of the email says? I didn’t receive an email.

We have had a few questions as to what the blue will look like. Im sorry but i cannot guarantee the shade. With previous titanium yoyos we have sampled, and in production the variance has been so significant that the samples were irrelevant. In most production, you get the luxury of of offering what gets made. We are not afforded that here. So if the shade of blue is critically important to your satisfaction I would recommend selecting one of the silver options. This we have 100% control over.

Three options on finish SHINY(POLISHED), BLUE(brushed) and BRUSHED (raw)

For ART Its all pretty similar.

OG is SLIGHTLY different to GR.

Team gets an extra lazer mark on the rim. Note these colors are on aluminum.

This is the 08 888 art. Note this is on aluminum. Ti tends to be a little darker.

Here are the options

Option 1.

OG

This is a BRUSHED Titanium finish, grey in color

Art will match first run 888

Response is hand poured silicone

It will accept regular pads

Option 2.

GR

This is the General release

This is a brushed Titanium finish, grey in color

Art will match traditional 07 888

Response is regular pads installed

Option 3.

BLUE

This is a brushed Titanium finish, blue in color

Art will match traditional 07 888

Response is regular pads installed

Option 4.

TEAM

This is a brushed Titanium finish, half grey / half blue in color.

It gets an additional ‘contest team’ lazer logo

Art will match traditional 07 888

Response is regular pads installed

Option 5.

08 polished

Polished (shiny) finish

Polish can reduce the precision slightly (is you are looking for the smoothest version go with something brushed)
