So im a tinkerer. As i get into the hobby I’m fascinated by yoyos that can be customized, moded, accessorized, adapted for multiple styles of play, things like that. However most throws i see boast one or two of these features but not more. Is there a yoyo that seems to do it all? Whats your throw with the mo(st)?

mod44 or any of the cap + side effect yoyos (rso gravity, american spin gadget, etc.) would be my guess

Unicorn and almost any of the Duncan capped yo-yos are very moddable. I would argue the butterfly XT is such a simple base that has so many options to turn into if your creative.
Mod44 is absolutely a super mod friendly YoYo especially if you have a 3d printer
