Wanted to try out 5A today. Dug around for something that could be used as a counterweight.
It was so cute. So perfect.
And it went well… for a few minutes.

the poor guy lost his grip. He was just trying his best
If you haven’t already, try tying the slipknot around his waist, itll probably hold better
I think I’m just gonna drill a hole in some dice
Do you have a Duncan imperial? If so, land a simple trapeze stall with it on camera, and @Slestak75 will send you a free counterweight!
(I think those were the rules, I’m sure Steve will correct me if I’m wrong)
Aw sick no way!!! I’ll check it out!!! Thanks for letting me know!!!
It doesn’t have to be a trapeze stall either, it could be any of the tricks in this years Fixed Axle February event to my knowledge.
This place rules.
also i started with drilled dice and I’m sure that’ll be fun for astro dice specifically, but gaming dice are lighter so you really need 2 unless ur using a very light yoyo. i recently got a couple of 10g cw’s and using a single one of appropriate size and weight was a whole different game. personally i much prefer the single weight
Indeed. Use a Duncan Imperial to complete any of the tricks in the Fixed Axle February thread, post the video in that thread, and make sure to @ me in the post, and please include IMPERIAL CHALLENGE in the post. This is just to help me pick them out as I have stroke damage and sometimes it’s difficult to keep up with all the posts.
Landing the trapeze stall a couple weeks ago was my gateway drug into 0A lol. Be warned, it’s addictively fun if you haven’t already played around with 0A.
NOOOOOOOO NOT THE SLOTHHH
(Conplete sentence)
I’ll probably enjoy 0A more once I remember to buy Chapstick, lol.
for now, my fixies are all either too unresponsive, or too responsive. (I gotta double wrap the string just to get some to respond right)
