yeah is it a good grinder? Does it play like a metal?

The pictures really don’t do the material justice, the black plastic looks really nice. I’m not sure I tried grinding it but I can’t imagine it would be that great considering it was molded. As for weight and feel, it didn’t feel too heavy or light. It definitely feels lighter than the 68 grams it is, and plays with a nice bit of float and zippiness. I’d definitely say it’s closer to the floaty end of the float-solid spectrum. As for playing like a metal, it definitely does. It felt to me even more like a metal than the delrins I tried that day. All in all a very great player. I wish I got to toss it around it bit more!

I tried Maider’s on Friday night. I think it might have been the same one, but it didn’t have any vibe that I noticed at that point. Sorry you were disappointed. I seem to be the only one that’s really revved up about the Yeti more than the Rally. I found the Rally pretty underwhelming.

I thought that it might have been the same because the string seemed to me exactly the same length as the one Maider had the day before. Regardless, I’m glad I got to try a vibeless one. Even with string that went up to me knee it was one fun jojo.

The Yeti is injection molded with no weight rings, or side caps and has the performance of a metal. Plus it is Made in Canada. There’s nothing out there like it right now.

Seems fair enough, what really go me going was what Yuki said about it I also think it has a really clean look to it! Is there any chance the colors of the Pickaxes will change at all?

Again we had some without engravings that were early testers and such. BUT it looks like I’ll be personally testing all 1000 of the first run. Hope my arm doesn’t fall off.
