I’m 33 and when I restarted YoYoing like 7-8 months ago after a long break and I stopped I only knew the basic due to only have a little insrtuction book that comes with yoyos to learn from, Internet wasn’t an option when I was yoyoing back in middle school (I think the web was just barely in the works) so there was no orderin cool yoyo’s or learning all the amazing tricks. So now that I restarted YoYoing and only knowing basics I needed to Practice Practice Practice, so I pull it out when I can to throw. So being older it’s different cause some people see it as a kids toy so it made me feel old and when I get people sayin good job, wow nice and of coarse my favorite The “I Remeber” Speech. I love to practice like when I’m in the grocery store waiting for the wife I’ll bust out my Yo and people start lookin at me funny and once I was at the Hospital waitin in the lobby one day and this older women, maybe in her 60’s says wow look at that yoyo real sharp lookin. And then I get the “I Remeber” speech (which I love to hear) she says, “I remember when I was just a little younger, not much” she says. " I used to pull out my YoYo and throw this way and that way, up in the air and around". LOL I was laughing it was so funny cause when she’s sayong this she’s throwing her arm around like she had an invisable yoyo, it was awesome for 1 it made me feel good that I could bring back memorys for someone and for 2 it lets me know that it don’t matter how old you are YoYo’s are for EVERYONE to play, learn and have fun with and Tommy “YoYoMan” Smuthers is Proof, who was my influence and I why I started so long ago…
