As much as it pained me to pass on the initial release of these, I’m holding out for Arkham! 
Jake, is there a chance of you creating an “Earth” colorway, creating the Earth Quake? 
I’ve got something cool up my sleeve but I don’t know if I’ll be calling it the earth edition. Always a chance though.
I know there is always a break-in period with any new throw, a time when your mind goes, “wow this is amazing” when you first throw your new investment. That being said, I received my Quake today and it’s special. Truly special. Yoyo of the year contender in my opinion. There is something about this design that just works. It works really well. When I received my Format:C I said that the Format:C made me feel like I needed to step my game up. I’m glad I’ve been practicing hardcore for the last 3 weeks because I was evidently stepping my game up for the fun that is the Quake. It’s fast, it’s agile, it’s nimble, in short it’s a joy to play. I never played a Nessie but I liked the Albatross a lot and I loved the Triton…but in my opinion The Quake is absolutely G2’s most enjoyable yoyo to date.
This is a fun fun fun throw that I am not putting down anytime soon. I was going to bring a single 1A yoyo to Nationals this weekend and this is absolutely the one I’m bringing.

My Hats off to you Jake, as much as I love the Al7 version of the Triton, I believe that the Quake which I received today, is your best effort to date. Floaty, fast & really well behaved at all speeds.
Without doubt my favorite G-Squared YoYo thus far. And I was fortunate enough to grab one of the “Splat” colorways as well which looks absolutely awesome !!

The quake is stupid fast. Very light, but strong spinning. Nimble but quite stable, tho not uber stable. If you wanna do zontals be prepared to do them fast and on point or else. This is def a stand out throw amongst my collection very diff then anything clyw or genyo has to offer. Very interested in a 7075. Good finger grinder too.
While the shape is different the play and way it holds in my hand reminds me of the lesula In that the overall shape adds to the play me you have a little more forgiveness in your play again these two yoyos don’t share much other then My idea linking them together and the idea that they are nice, stable, and forgiving for an amateur like me.
I particularly like the quake for front play it allows me to speed through my front tricks with ease and generally faster then Normal as I find myself having to catch up with the quake mid trick, this just means Jake succeeded in another yoyo that just out plays me and is extremely awesome! This yoyo and the prestige are my twi new go to yoyos. Although it sorta sucks those ano finishes are so beautiful I really don’t want to grab them and mess up the finish. I will own some of your other throws as they become available in colors and offerings that tickle my fancy!

Even though min was scheduled to be delivered today, it did not show up, as per usual. Everything I buy seems to get held up >:(
that sucks. My mom kinda surprised me with a quake. Sometimes when I’m not home I’ll leave random notes in places that she goes with order info and directions just to see if she’d do it. Sometimes she’ll look at it, sometimes not. While I was at the STL Blues preseason game on Friday she sent a receipt to my dad, whom I was with. I had three reasons to be happy that night. The yoyo, the blues winning, and the STL Cardinals clinching the division title. ;D. Glad I live near St. Louis cuz shipping from yye is pretty quick.
Love my Quake so much. The color is absolutely gorgeous. My only dislike against it is the really tight bearing seat. I guess that my negligence to get a bearing puller has finally gotten me…
