Probably recorded it on a bird.
Ok team, what’s the simplest GT stall and how do I do it?
Do you know bro stall yet? Just do a bro stall and land it on the back string, slide off the wrist and it’s a gttttt

(Sweet I tried that other one @EOS44 thanks for the tip gif tricks ruleeee)
It did work! I can’t for the life of me get the yoyo to NOT hit my throw hand when it responds. Bro stall no problem.
Ok sweet! Yeah that part is tricky to land, but should come with time, I’ll try and think of any tips that could help tho, I learned it with butterflies and they’re pretty light and hurt less haha
ayy triangle stall. Sweet.
Also, I think the gif doesn’t display anymore. Try using gfcat. That’s the only good quality gif service that is fully compatiblr with the forum software. Imgur was great but for some reason links from there don’t work anymore.
Gif tricks are the future.
I’ve been using my new blood cell which is kinda dense. I’ll switch to a legend for… Training. Lol.
I did it! Used just index and middle finger of throw hand, rather than my whole wrist or hand. Sick gif trick sometime in the future.
Sweet! This trick has had my focus most of this evening. Super cool. Are you letting the string wrap the axle before or after you slip it off your throw hand into gt? I’ve been experimenting with both, not sure what I’ll do with the variations, but nice to know they’re there.
Dope!!! Glad you got it with all your fingers intact lol
I’ll let it wrap to the stall before just to slow down the motion of it, but you can definitely try a more instant version that would probably look smoother too!
I 100% let everything settle before pulling out my fingers. Spent so much time picking the knots from this one. Not risking it lol.
It’s 53g. That’s fairly light I think.
This is a slight derail from the current topic but every time I come to this topic I think of this. I love how one of the most posted on topics that seems to be super active is this one. By all standards fixed axel isn’t the go to play style for most yet here this topic is alive well strong and informative day after day. Kind of a gushy post but this is the kind of thing I love about the community here, that the niche corners of this hobby get so thoroughly covered.
I was just thinking this! I believe it is because the more popular styles of play have a lot more in terms of resources around the internet.
True but not as light as a legend or even the popsicle stick Knack you sent me. Thanks again btw!
This post has also condensed activity into one narrow place; which seems to be working nicely to keep the activity um, active.
Aww I love you guys! Fixed axle/modern responsive is definitely having a resurgence thanks to Ed, Kyle and @EOS44 putting out that good content it makes me so happy!!
@gcoomans @Mystik Here is how I ended up getting it done.

My gif doesn’t look as nice as @EOS44 though. Not sure where I fudged that one lol.
