Ms. Pyro modded me a Standard Butterfly with MR85 bearing and RBC Pads. It is one of my favorite casual throws. All the feel of Butterflys, extra spin time for Shenanigans. Great response for 0A. Almost like a Butterfly XT but better.
That sounds like an awesome throw!
I recently bought one of the terrible new Duncan Wheels, and finally got around to modding it a couple days ago. Turns out that the transaxle is nearly the same size as a slim / half-spec C bearing. Just replacing the plastic with an oiled bearing was a huge improvement and made it playable, but it still wasn’t ideal. I sanded the starburst off and cut a groove for flowable silicone response, and it’s so much better now. I’d love to take it a step further with a smaller diameter bearing and larger response area, but I’m not sure my modding capabilities are quite to that level right now.
Messing around with a SW button…I’ve been working on making simple stuff as smooth as possible. @Yodaddyo has convinced me to record myself when throwing, it definitely helps you catch mistakes and fix things up🙌 Imgur: The magic of the Internet
Just got this in from @DLC Australian Blue Gum, 58 grams, 58mm by 35mm, concaved sides to push the weight to the rims (and keep the weight lower), nickel sized gap with 4 hole response. Plays like a dream
