I wanted to make the same joke! How the eff did he get so much spin!?!
You get a fresh piece of poly or other slick string on a Butterfly and it can play very unresponsive.
Yep. This was Alphaline. When fresh, it doesn’t really tug respond very often, but once the string wears in a little and it has some little hairs coming off the string, them little hairs will catch the starburst, but it will still spin like crazy as long as the string tension is super loose. I don’t recommend any chapstick if going for the longest spin time possible as it will slow it, and cause snag on on string tricks with layers from my experience
These Eli hops wouldn’t count in a contest, but I can bang out 4 on the Butterfly while still getting it back to my hand. Really really want to hit 5.
Why don’t they count in a contest? I’m feeling like this is over my head
I think your hands have to touch on each one, not 100 percent sure
Do you not mean virtual fellow inmates?
Too real!
I can die happy.
Duuuuude! You could just sell those regular butterflies and wheels and such as “modded” and show the videos and the whole YYBC would be buying them up, haha!
Lol, thank you. I do intend to get a Wheel and Butterfly modded at some point in the future, but I’m afraid once I do I’ll just set them aside and play the original fixed ones lol.
In-effing-credible! Well done brother!
Ms. Pyro modded me a Standard Butterfly with MR85 bearing and RBC Pads. It is one of my favorite casual throws.
All the feel of Butterflys, extra spin time for Shenanigans. Great response for 0A. Almost like a Butterfly XT but better.
so i got my Layer Infinity prize pack and like the others Wayne included the prototype with the kasm. for anyone who hasn’t tried a Kasm yet, you NEED to, it’s amazing! the quality of both of these throws is well beyond what i thought 3d prints could be
having said that, lots has been said about the Kasm. i wanna talk about this Klasm proto (not official name lol). it’s friggin phenomenal! @wayne927 well done sir! its a different plastic to begin with. its a softer plastic than the Kasm and feels denser. i dont have a scale so, sorry i can’t provide the actual weight. it uses the classic caps so it feels heavier in the hand than the Kasm. also, i imagine since its the classic caps, they can be swapped around for color combos and visual customization which i love. response is just as crisp and snappy as the Kasm and it can accomodate the bearing locks included with the Kasm. it’s also well balanced! i hit the first kickflip i attempted on it and i still suck at those. it just feels perfect.
all in all ive been carrying the Klasm with me constantly since getting it and i can honestly say for anyone that appreciates modern responsive, Kasms, or Wayne’s work in general, you gotta check this one out when Wayne is rdy! def don’t miss out!
Yeppers! They are both awesome but I actually like the white one better than my 2 Kasms. As a 3D Printer myself - I’m dumbfounded by the quality of these things. They are GREAT!
I’m still a beginner, but proud that I can now land this little 0A combo consistently. I’m also trying to get over my aversion to filming myself. Yoyo is another prototype MR85 bearing 3D printed design with POG size caps.
Smooth!!
Amazing what can be done with the most basic of yoyos.
