How is it? If you’ve used one, please tell me about it. I’ve been interested in it for a while.

If you are accustomed to the W shape of the OneStar/Sage, ProtoStar, and NorthStar, then the RockStar will feel very familiar and comfortable. I sort of feel it flies under everyone’s radar because it gets lost in the glut of exceptionally competent $45 monometals that we have today. But it is a very solid throw IMO, and worth a buy if you like the *Star family of W-shaped yoyos.

What’s weird is that the rockstar re-release is only for sale (that I can see) on the Japanese yo-yo store. It is not for sale on YYF’s website (!), or here at YYE.

I thought you guys were talking about old stock or something!
