how does the 7 summits play? They say it’s lighter than the original. IDK if I should hold out for a better color of the seven summits or get the maiderade summit. Thanks!
I don’t know about the 7 Summits. But I have a regular Summit and it is probably the lightest yoyo in my arsenal.
People say 7 one drop summit is better player.
I just got the 7 Summits. I need more time to compare, but my initial impression is that it is quicker. I like it a lot.

I don’t really favor heaviness, and I favor floaty (if that’s a thing! ;D)
I spent some time with both this evening. It has been a while since I played my Summit. I have to say that I definitely prefer the 7 Summits. It has a tad bit more float and zip to it. It is a noticeable difference, but it still felt like a Summit… If that makes sense. The 7 Summits plays quicker but not so much that you feel like it’s out of control. Think of it more like a power walker instead of a track star where the Summit is on a Sunday stroll. Hope that makes sense. Get a 7 Summits while you can. They are limited and running out of mountains. Hope that helps.

I wouldn’t say it feels more solid/stable. To me, it feels like a Summit with the differences mentioned.
alright, that’s good enough excuse for me! I tried a summit once and I felt it was floaty. Can’t wait to see how floaty this thing is. Now the only thing left to debate is price…
