Why do you think it’s the best?
I dont think its the best, but I do think its great! I own the Summit AND a 7 Summits (Vinson) and love them both. I dont believe in the concept of “best” personally so I may be a bad one to add to this. 
its not the best… there are far better yoyos then the summit.

The summit is a very uninteresting brick of metal.
The Summit is a fun collaboration between One Drop and CLYW. It has the profile of the CLYW Avalanche and the cup design of the One Drop Cascade. I personally thought it was a fun yoyo to throw, but when I decided to cut my collection to my favorite 3 yoyo designs (which actually became 4), it didn’t make the cut. Still, it’s a good one (IMO) for the less experienced to learn more advanced tricks because of its very stable and forgiving design. Plus it has the side effects so you can adjust the overall weight if you’d like.
I feel the same way. I’m sure the 7Summits are much better.
I like it. But it’s not the “best” imo. From OD I prefer the Valor and from CLYW I prefer the Chief. 
I thought the summit was extremely boring and plain.
It’s not the best it’s plain and pretty much a boring throw. However that’s the beauty of it to me. It’s just a yoyo it’s a good design it and it works. I’m never blown away by it, I pick it up and it does what I want it to do when I want it to do it. No more. No less. I personally like it.

Why is everyone hating on the summit? I love that throw. Its floaty stable and nimble. What’s not to love?

Not hating. Just saying I have others I prefer. It’s fine.
First of all… ‘who’ specifically stated that the Summit is extraordinary; compelling you to ask your question?
I don’t even recall One Drop suggesting the Summit was/is extraordinary when the yoyo was first released.
Secondly; considering the entire field of current high performance yoyos; suggesting that the Summit is the Best is in itself an Extraordinary Inaccurate postulate.
The Summit is a very good and very fun yoyo. But that being said; the Summit is not even the best yoyo that One Drop makes. Consequently, if it is not even the best yoyo that OD makes; how could it possibly be the ‘Best’?

I think it’s great that you found a yoyo that is the best for you. Congrats! Most people spend a lot of time searching and never quite reach this level of satisfaction.
Also be aware that expressing love for anything on the internet is the fastest way to find all the people who hate that very same thing. As you can plainly see from this exquisite little thread.

I own a Summit, it’s a nice throw. It’s not among my favorites though but if I want to throw something floaty, I’ll go for the Summit.
Since I like a little more heft to my throws for a more solid feeling I put in the spike side effects. Still pretty floaty but closer to what I’m after.
Same here, I love spikes in my summit.
Do I just have a sunny disposition or something? Yeah, there’s negativity in here, but it’s tempered with reasonable assessment by at least half the respondents, and even the negative people aren’t dripping with hatred or anything.
Again, though, that’s just my perception.
But you know… 20 comments of “it’s fine” and one comment of “it’s absolutely worthless” (or whatever) and everyone’s going to zero in on the negative one because it will stand out for its ridiculousness… I prefer to consciously make sure I’m aware of the real ratio and not get immediately caught up on the negative one.
