Now that there’s been a few drops, here’s a thread to post up your Summit 2’s! Definitely the yoyo of the year IMO, and besides the Legacy Peak, it’s probably the most sought after release of 2026. There’s undoubtedly going to be some legendary colorways dropping eventually, so we might as well get started now!
Here’s my 4… two clear from the first run, a rose fade I picked up @ Nats, & a pale blue from the most recent drop on CLYW’s site.
Oh man I’m rearranging all my yoyos this thursday I’ll get some good summit 2 shots then! Those clears are heat and I really regret not getting 2 pink ones at nats.
I think brass is popular in these for a reason. The heavier SEs balance out the weight distribution nicely in my opinion compared to Al ones, it’s basically a slightly slower playing Chief now, remarkably close feel on the string other than that.
The only reason I say I’m undecided is that it somehow just feels a bit big in my hand compared to the Chief, even though side by side it doesn’t look like it.
Hmmmm I agree actually. I have pretty large hands and the diameter is still a bit big for my liking. That’s the only thing I’d change, I wish the diameter was a hair smaller.
I actually find the stock SEs make it play like a slightly heavier chief to me, super weird because it’s lighter than a Chief. Probably due to the overall larger dimensions not too sure.
I love it overall but can’t decide if I want it heavier or lighter.
I’m thankful to own these spikes because I think they’re borderline too heavy, the brass SEs are probably just a bit over that line but still better than stock.
