I have a C3 Yoyo design Contrail with a stuck bearing. My bearing removal tools dont fit the bearing nor do my piliers. Any advice would be much appreciated.
do you think you could send a pic pls? as far as i know c3 uses stock C bearings for their offstring lineup, so your bearing removal tool should work. i usually use pliers and use the toothed curved part on it to grab it and pull it up
This is a responsive bearing so maybe that changes it.
Not sure if the seat is glued on the contrail but on most 4As you can just push the complete seat out the shell.
I would try put the the screw on a table and lightly push against the shell and see if the mounting pin comes out.
(If pliers and bearing tool did not work)
thats a normal c bearing, but it looks pretty deep. perhaps the spacer fell out? anyway, you should be good with pliers as long as you dont bite you axel with it. if the pliers are too big, try screw it back together and get the bearing and axel on opposite sides, or get the axel out using an axel tool
The axle has a hex key hole in the end. You should be able to remove the axle and then use your bearing tool. If you don’t have a hex key to fit, put some tape around the axle and use a pliers to remove it.
