this is weird. i completely unwrap/fold them and i hang them on a clothes hanger in my closet.
if im on the go i just wrap each string up with itself and pocket it.

I sometimes put 4-5 strings on my yoyo so when one wears out I just pull it off and there’s a new fresh one under it. Saves a lot of time.
