For the record, there’s nothing wrong with using a little cooking oil (or YYJ lube, as I do) to keep a string snug on your finger until it breaks in and starts staying put. I do this A LOT with Alchemy string when it’s fresh. That stuff will not stay put until it’s broken in, and you’ll have a yo flying across the room if you’re not careful. I’ve done this more times than I care to admit. ;D
