I recently had a frustrating weekend with my chopsticks exercises, and it finally occurred to me that it was my string making the exercises hard. The soft Sochi string was hard to control. I switched to an unknown string I had that was much rougher and tactile. The result was that I could keep the string on my thumb and consistently land the trick. My hands are usually dry which adds to the slippery nature of the string. Does anyone have string recommendations for technical play that has a rougher more tactile feel?
OD bulk is thinner and a little on the course side. Sochi Collin Beckford string is like that too if you can find it.

Edit: I just learned they sell string thats plenty long enough!!
Looks like I’ll have to put in another order. The silk one (tincture I think) is the fastest whipping string that Ive ever used!
I now do 150cm string!
