Had some time and wanted to share some pics of when I first started anodizing! (got carried away and ended up posting more pics then I initially intended… they are even in order!)
First ano job ever done on a crappy D grade yoyo that Jason gave me in case I messed up really bad…haha
2nd yoyo I did for myself… I chose to do a silver “Hello Kitty” stencil with a hot pink to purple fade with yellow splashes. On the other side, I did a green to blue fade splash on silver. heh
3rd yoyo I did back in August 25, 2011! (wow almost a year ago)

Clareview station colorway on a galaxy blasted bassalope!
Blue, black and blue green colorway with a outer spacey or atomicy look on a galaxy blasted superwide.
Pink and Purple SB+JWZ Collab.
Purple and silver acid wash with black splatter. Other side is a black to purple fade acid wash w/ silver splash.
Blue to yellow fade splash on black.
Silver/brown acid wash with a turquoise splash on a galaxy blasted 888.
Code One with orange/yellow acid wash with a bright blue splash.

Purple speckles with a black and silver acid wash (on top of a nova blast) it is a twist on clyw jack rabbit for links!
CANNOT BELIEVE I’ve been anodizing since August 02, 2011 It’s been a wonderful year of fun artsy creations that I am very very proud of. ;D
Amazing.
I only have 2-3 items that I’d get anodized. Both would be clear. If my Corli prototype is raw, then that’s good to go and could be done clear. My Battosai has been stripped and mirrow polished so I’d also do that clear as well. The third is a 2nd run Peak that I’d just again want done clear.
Just depends on price and turn-around times!
If that Battosai is mirror polished, you don’t want it ano’d. Rather, think about a clear powdercoat.
I actually think anodized mirror polished yoyos look awesome. For exmaple, I mirror polished and anodized this peak for stickman. I just love anything glossy 
(I think it’s because I don’t do grind tricks)
