I am considering having my ILYY Falcon soda blasted, but I was wondering how aggressive the blast can be on the strings. Would the finish be more likely to snap strings from constant rubbing? I’m asking in case I should leave the string area/catch zone raw/polished.
I have a blasted burnside and have never experienced tht issue. The blast around the string actually gets worn down after a bit so I think it is no problem.
