Why is so hyped? Is it really that good for a budget metal yoyo. Something like the horizon or minute better?
Well, the Horizon is over-sized and built for a lot of horizontal play, the minute is under-sized. The Shutter is full-sized and built to be pretty much really good at everything. It’s also the yoyo that just won at world (the player might have had something to do with that, not sure). I don’t actually own a Shutter, but I have tried it, and I prefer my Too HOT at that $45 budget metal price range. The Shutter is really good, though, and so many people are and have been happy with it.
It is a really good “vanilla” yoyo! I don’t think it does any one thing particularly well but can do just about everything good enough.
