Chaco Canyon? Did thundering rock fall!?!

That is one exceptionally vertical drop right there. :fearful:

It is Chaco. Not sure on thundering rock falling. I think they had a few fall in the past. Back in 1988 walked most of the the trail from Chaco to Salmon Ruins about eight miles. If flying you can see the original trail/road connecting the two ruin sites from the air. The sides of road are built up from travel over time. It was a great hike see a badger, porcupine and got stung b a scorpion for the second time (that part wasn’t so great). If you are interested. In these type of sites I was recently out in Ramah, New Mexico. Located between the Navajo and Zuni Nations and was surprised to find cliff dwellings off the side of a dirt road. Ramah is a very remote area population 407.

I love Chaco. Been there several times. It should be on every Americans travel bucket list.

This was my Junior High School principal’s favorite saying. It seemed stupid to me at the time, but it is a very true statement.

Happy Independence Day!

Watch those fire crackers don’t go losing your throw finger.

My wife and went to Castlewood Canyon State Park this morning between Colorado Springs and Parker on Route 83. Used my Shutter, it’s the only Red, White and Blue yo-yo I have.

At the beach with a few yoyos I’m less worried about getting sandy and wet.

Love this thread. I have been roaming the country in an adventure van and documenting the awesome places I get to throw over on my Instagram (@dirtbag_edc as well).

Finally going thru some pics. This was from July 1st at the Summit of Pikes Peak.

Shooting the moon with my super vibey souvenir Pikes Peak yo-yo

I made one complete pass before it went wonky and I had to dodge the yo-yo like Neo in the Matrix.
