That looks amazing. Also I’m all for consistency and going back to what works sounds right to me
Is that available for sale, or is it spoken for already?
Functional art at its finest.
Made a dandelion KNack for @Sleeper80 (three-piece).
The man has the patience of the hills and I will making his Bloodcell and Button next.
I got a knack, finally! I must say, everyone thinks they want a blood cell. What they really want is a knack…. And a blood cell, but, trust me, get the knack first. ![]()
They want a Dead 'Orse
The Dead 'Orse it a bit more unconventional.
“Tie finger, ButTon”
Pardon?
You may be right there (out of Spinworthy models, I mean).
That is a very well played Button!
The harbinger is pretty great too. I think if I could I would commission a knack one day and a button but honestly I’m very content with the bloodcell and harbinger I have.
All that said honestly pickup the plasm most ant the moment of all the spinworthy inspired yo-yos I have.
This looks great Glen! Your work never ceases to amaze me and It’s always worth the wait. Can’t rush art.
Not a yoyo, but I made these tiny things a couple of years ago that might vaguely interest someone.
The first is a little urn I made from a roller paintbrush handle. Its about 5cm tall.
The second is a goblet I made which is about 3mm tall. When I was on Facebook and saw some old dudes having a competition of who could turn the smallest wooden goblet. I figured I could do better. They simply posted “You win.” Lol. It was so small the wind generated by the chuck blew it away when I parted it off. I couldn’t pick it up off the floor either becuase, I had to use tweezers.
Can you take a photo of that goblet next to an MR85 bearing from the plasm?
No unfortunately… I lost it. ![]()
finally got some wood dry enough to make some more yojos. turns out wet wood takes like a year to dry ;( . this wun is one piece, 58 grams, 3cm wide and 56.5mm diameter. I need to ask my arborist friend what wood this is again but it has a cool slight color change depending on what angle you look at it. accidentally got a lil catch visible in first pic but otherwise went well ![]()
That looks fantastic
