We let him keep it and are sending a new one.
I’ve had some good experiences with them. Had a problem with a Ricochet and Ben told me to spark the heck out of it before returning it when the replacement unit arrived.

Definitely happy days for the thief as long as (s)he has no intention of selling it. Doubt you’d get a whole lot for it with all those spark marks.
