Rain city skills dumpster fire 2020

What do you guys think about the look of the Rain City Skills Dumpster Fire?
I’m excited about this one. Super weird in a good way. I can’t stop looking at it.

I like the look of it a lot. Definitely something interesting.

Honestly I’m not sure what the point is. Those grooves in the edge seem like they’d be pretty easy to accidentally catch a string in. :man_shrugging:

I thought this was the design @Nathan posted in the MK1 design contest…

reminds me of some high-end rare container I saw on here recently.

According to the Rain City Skills website this yoyo was purposely designed to be horrible and make you hate it.

Well they did a fine job then. Lmao

It’s atrocious.

I want one of each.

I hate it.

Luckily it doesn’t come in mono green so I’m okay with it existing.

(p.s…I hope it’s clear I’m only saying I hate it in jest and fun! To be honest hate is not nearly strong enough of a word for the way I feel about this yoyo! Job Well Done @MrYoyoThrower  )

And the Winner of the Ugly Yoyo Contest is unanimous.

That looks like something a kid comes up with after searching through Grandpas garage in a desperate effort to make something to play with.

And there is Always a shortage of yoyos that feel so good on the return catch.

I would like to think it might play well. That would be better than nothing.

They should release it on April 1st. Then it would make sense🤔.

It 100% makes sense. They dropped it yesterday. U.S. election day…

Its so ugly! I don’t want it, but I do, but maybe I don’t. I love oddball stuff this is where my struggle comes in!

I pre-ordered. I knew how bad I wanted to hate it.

Yeah I did it… I feel the regret already

The yoyo reminds me of a few things - a couple of crushed soda cans, some lids to some jars, and those bulky plastic lightup yoyos from the 80s that took a AA battery in each half, had a plastic finger loop tied to the string.

Ohhh… it’s responsive…

Lol, I totally get it, you hating it was the goal!

WEeeeeel. It can be. But you can also be crazy and play unresponsive with a non-lubed bearing.
