I will admit that I have no idea. Yes, I am new at this, but so far the string that comes with yoyos seems to be cut for someone who is 5’ 9 1/2".

Slack tricks don’t have as much breathing room with a “standard length” string - that’s why I tend to go longer as slack tricks are my favorite

Reviving this thread from the dead to say thanks. I was struggling with some intermediate stuff (Maximum Overdrive) and I went to a longer string because of this thread (Stomach) and I’m now making progress immediately, so cheers guys. Whatever you’re all up to 7 years later

I’ll say “At my stomach,” but that’s not a good indicator. I have short legs and a very long torso. I’d say I play around 110-115cm.
