What kind of drop WAS it?

That is a compression force since it broke from the inner part it looks like it was more from an expansion. For yo-yos that usually means hitting hard on an angle and flexing at the hub one side going out and the other one going in since we usually donât just try to yank it apart without unscrewing.

I was standing in my kitchen. We have ceramic flooring. I was taking off a string to put another on. I was clumsy and dropped it, I am 6 foot tall, so likely a 4 and a half foot free fall drop. It landed just the right way. I probably could drop it 50 times and not recreate it and break it.
It was my fault. If I bought a phone and dropped it and it broke, I wouldnât place blame on the manufacturer.
I am positive Jeffrey Pang would send me a new one if I reached out, but it wasnât dudes fault. He made a phenomenal yoyo, just be careful and it will last you a long time.
