Parkour

and… It’s still

I can have a healthy respect for it from a distance. Most days I’m happy to stand up straight without my back giving out! Yoyoing is strenuous enough. Haha!

I imagine it’s a very interesting scene, though. And just as there are purists in any sport, there are probably some pretty elite athletes who are all about “it’s doing the planned course in the most efficient way, not adding a bunch of flourishes” and others who are about “sure, do it in an efficient way, but make it exciting to watch and fun to do!”

But I dunno. Just guessing.

Some of my brothers friends were in this video.

Nice vault…

Haha, it was just a random thing… You should have seen the drop!

The roll in this is pretty good

Did you roll after? How high was it?

Nah… I don’t have the guts… :stuck_out_tongue: I may try to do that later…

It’s like a 12 foot drop.

That is exactly what the conflict between parkour and freerunning is. Although most people fail to recognize the distinction between the two terms.

Parkour is pretty fun but I like trials better. I like to think of it as parkour on a bike.

If it’s a 12 foot drop you should be rolling after. Doesn’t put as much stress on you.

I landed in a snow pile. ;D

I suppose I should say that I have been messing around on a climbing systems wall (unaided) at my school for a warming up. The best exercise I came up with is just jumping up, and jumping sown from up high. I have been doing this for the past three months, and I have achieved an assisted (using hands) jump height of around 11ft; I can reach a climbing grip 11 ft from the ground.
I feel pretty good that I can get high just from using my body.
