So i went out today to jamba juice and of course i had my Hitman yoyo with me and while i was waiting for my drink the guy at the register saw me yoyoing and said how cool i was and even called me a yoyo-master even though i was doing simple tricks and another time was when i was at the laundry mat and and i was yoyoing there and a dad asks me to yoyo for his son. I dont know about you guys but it’s good to know that people still have an interest in yoyos. Anybody have any similar stories? And if my post is in the wrong place let me know.

idk about you guys but nobody yoyos around me and i kinda started the trend but everybody quit because they couldnt handle advanced. lol its nice tho ;D

I impressed my teacher, friends, cousins…
But when my teacher knows that it’s an unresponsive yoyo, he said “It’s a cheating yoyo”
So he’s not that impressed anymore… He said that his friend can play with a “normal” yoyo and do walk the dog or so…
One of my friends also said that I’m showing off…
But I’m still proud to be a thrower…

I wish i was confident to go out and yoyo in public. I really do love to throw but i’m so shy i don’t even like doing it in front of my friends.

one of my friends told that also. uhm my teachers some classmates asked me to yoyo, and some other people i don’t even know, they asked me to do walk the dog and i said i don;t like to hurt my yoyo, then i started playing i did some zippers tricks starting with split bottom mount and they said i was reapiting each trick over and over again, so i did a wrist mount and green triangle they said " wow no one of us could do those’"

Same here, It’s sorta cool to be the only one in your area that does something, But it also bites… HARD

My dad took me into work to yoyo for some of his friends one day.
I bowl like 2 or 3 times a week, I always take my 888x there. Lot of people watch. One time, I was yoyoing for another kid there, and I noticed a girl recording me XD I love yoyoing at the bowling alley on busy days. I know most the people who work there too so they don’t mind that I yoyo. They actually enjoy it too. One of them had seen the world contest on ESPN.
I’ve yoyoed after school a few times… which is when one friend said I’m crazy… and about 9 others said I have no life.
And… Another time… I was yoyoing in the middle of street (my street doesn’t have cars on it that moften in mid-afternoon). That was the time I almost got run over by a police car. I got off the street and continued to yoyo. He watched me yoyo for a few seconds before leaving.
I have a friend who works at a bowling alley, and we always hang out and bowl after it closes, its pretty cool, like six people with a bowling alley to themselves… (Best part… I get shoes, few hours of bowling, a drink and unlimited refills for about 3 bucks… Its good to have friends) We were there waiting for the league bowling to end and they all went outside to smoke. I went with them to hang out, I dont smoke so I pulled out my yoyo… I always have one on me… And they were like ZOMG!!! Is that a yoyo??? Oh my god!! They rushed me inside to show one person which turned into half the bowling alley watching… Pretty funny…
Another time we were at Wallmart and I was working on revolutions… I had gotten it down, I was just practicing. So Im following my friends up and down the isles doing revolutions…Lots of head turns… We went outside again… and Once again… I dont smoke so while my friends are Im just yoyoing… Some lady walked by and handed my friend a dollar to give to me!! We talked about just standing there and putting a hat out…
Everyone at our bowling alley (not the employees, just the normal bowlers) hate my friends and I. They have to $3.50 to $4.00 per game. They have a special on Friday that cost $2.00 per game. Me and some of my friends have a card that gets us free shoes (though we have our own) and we only have to pay $1.00 per game. So… people behind us are paying $20.00 for bowling like 5 games. Me and my friend are paying that much to bowl 10 each.
